Dr.A.Sukanya, Business Analytics

"Dr. A. Sukanya is a Computer Science academic and research professional with over eight years of experience in teaching, funded research, and academic administration. She was awarded the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science (Full-Time) for her research titled “Design and Development of an Effective Methodology Using Vesselness Measures for Coronary Artery Segmentation and Calcium Quantification”, at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore underscoring her significant contribution to medical imaging and analytics research .She subsequently served as a Project Fellow in the Department of Computer Applications, Bharathiar University, where she was actively engaged in funded research initiatives and advanced research activities. She has rendered her services to reputed institutions such as VLB Janakiammal College of Arts and Science, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, and Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and is currently serving at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management for Business Analytics since 22 July 2024 (till date). Throughout her academic career, she has been extensively involved in key academic responsibilities including course delivery, curriculum support, project supervision, technical training, and academic coordination for both UG and PG students. Her academic and research interests encompass Digital Image Processing, Medical Imaging, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Biomedical Image Analysis, with strong technical proficiency in analytics and data analysis tools including MATLAB, Python, R, and statistical computing platforms. She specializes in the design, development, and optimization of image processing and analytical algorithms. She possesses substantial experience in supervising UG and PG projects and in conceptualizing and delivering technical training programmes in analytics tools, MATLAB, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. Dr. A.Sukanya has authored and co-authored several research papers published in Scopus and SCIE-indexed international journals and has presented her scholarly work at prestigious national and international conferences. She has also served as a peer reviewer for reputed national and international journals, contributing to the scholarly evaluation and quality assurance of research publications. "
